The Minister of External affairs:-
The Minister of External Affairs is also know as Foreign Minister and Videsh Mantri.
He is the head of Ministry of External Affair of the Government of India.
Responsibility of Foreign Minister:-
One of the Senior most office in Union Cabinet, the Chief responsibility of foreign Minister is to represent India and its government in the international community.
The Foreign Minister also play an important role in determining Indian foreign policy.
Occasionally the foreign Minister is assisted by a Minister of state for external affairs or Deputy Minister of External Affairs.
External Affairs Minister Reports to:-
External affairs Minister always need to report President of India, Prime Minister of India and Parliament of India.
Who Appoint Foreign Minister:-
President of India is one appointed External Affairs Minister on recommendation of Prime Minister of India.
Minister of External Affairs is formed in 1947.
First External Affairs Minister is Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru.
